This is Cristina
Cristina is a light worker on planet earth and so her spiritual name is Luce.
Luce means light.
It is the name of her spirit.
It is the name given to her prior to her psychological studies.
She too has crossed The Bridge.
Having been given the name Cristina Giai-Coletti at birth, she went on to achieve her master’s in clinical psychology at Rhodes University in South Africa.
After seven years of study, and always being fascinated and propelled by The Bridge between, and linking, psychology and spirituality, she worked for over 20 years as a Clinical Psychologist, spanning work in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, both in public and private practice.
Alongside that she pursued her own research and practice of spirituality / energy work in various ways and modalities.
Gradually developing her clinical psychology and therapeutic skills, and while honing her perception of The Bridge that links these with each other – psychology and spirituality – she has decided, in honour of her life’s work here on Earth, to take on the name of Consciousness Facilitator.
This is an acknowledgement of her role with you, her clients, on your journey, regardless of where on The Bridge you choose to start or stop.
Consciousness facilitation means that she will meet you where you are in your stage of growth and healing, and let you decide how far on The Bridge you choose to go.
Without expectation, without pressure, and without judgement.

About Cristina
- After 23 years of practising as a former clinical psychologist, I felt constrained by the title of ‘psychologist’ and so I chose to let go of the title, so I am free to work as a counsellor of mental and emotional wellbeing.
- Equipped with numerous intervention approaches, my focus is person-centred. This means I know that the nature of the relationship is at the Heart of the healing . . . where you can truly feel heard, seen and understood for who you are.
- My psychology career has spanned over two decades and I have counselled hundreds of clients. This is testament not only to my passion and love for this work, but also to my capacity to foster a kind, caring and authentic relationship with you.
- My main technical approach to the change part of the counselling is EMDR Therapy (for more information, click here). This approach works with not only your mind and emotions, but also with how memories, beliefs and emotions are stored in your body. I am also trained and experienced in the approaches of CBT, Mindfulness, DBT, solution-focused interventions and attachment-based parenting and relationship skills.
- Having lived in six countries, I am extremely well-versed in the challenges of being an immigrant and the myriad of cultural, linguistic, social and other factors that can impact on your psychological and emotional wellbeing. I therefore dedicate a portion of my work to supporting immigrants / expats as they adapt to their new environments, bringing to this not only my counselling experience and expertise but also my experience as an immigrant myself.
- In honour of all my teachers before me, and of the sacred work that we do in supporting and guiding people, I also provide supervision to other counsellors and psychologists.
